On 15 June, Adelante Hoensbroek is organising a Beweegproeverij (sports taster day) in collaboration with Iedereen Kan Sporten.
This sports day is organised for people in rehabilitation, former rehabilitation patients and other interested people, to get to know a range of sports (try-outs, demonstrations, stands), specifically for adults with a physical disability. The sports on offer include boccia, water basketball, wheelchair handball, handbiking, adapted sailing, judo, archery, (sliding) table tennis, wheelchair dancing, frame running, mindfulness, diving, sitting badminton, walking football and much more. In addition, various organisations with expertise and/or activities for people with a physical disability will be present, such as Stichting Onbegrensd Avontuur and 2KERR.
