Samen Toegankelijk Heerlen wants this website to be usable by everyone. That is exactly what we stand for. That is why we continuously work on the accessibility of this site.

What we do

• We write in clear, simple language.
• All images have a text description (alt text) for anyone using a screen reader.
• Colours have sufficient contrast and information is never conveyed by colour alone.
• The website can be operated with a keyboard.
• Anyone who turns off motion effects in their system settings (prefers-reduced-motion) gets a calm version of the site.

Standard

We aim for accessibility level WCAG 2.2, level AA. This website is regularly checked and improved against this standard.
